Catie and I just got home from spending the last couple of hours over at my cousins’ house. Guess why we were there? Because we were taking care of Elizabeth while Cat & Tony went to the hospital to HAVE THEMSELVES A BABY!!!
Cat’s water broke this afternoon, so this baby is definitely on his way out, and it sounds like he’s coming sooner than later. Yay! I’m sending out my little ::easy labor vibes:: all over the place.
Tony’s parents arrived to take care of Elizabeth, so after they got settled in, Catie and I headed home. I can’t wait to go to the hospital tomorrow to meet that brand new baby boy! Whee! So excited!
EDITED TO ADD: Baby boy is here! They’re still undecided on a name (eek!), but he’s a healthy & perfect 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Thank heavens he came a little early, he probably would’ve been a 10+ pounder if he’d gone all the way to 40 weeks. I talked to Cat on the phone, she says he looks just like Elizabeth when she was first born, except not as fat. We’re going to meet him later this morning, and have no fear, there will be lots of pictures!

Too funny that they don’t have a name. I have a friend who changed her daughter’s name after her husband told everyone the first name. She eneded up with personalized gifts witht he first name! Things had already been ordered by the time she told everyone the final name choice.
