My mom is having her breast cancer surgery today. I’m relieved that she’s just having a lumpectomy and a reduction, but I’m still a little freaked out and worried. It’s just that whole idea of thinking about your parents’ mortality, which I think is one of those things that nobody likes to think about.
If you are at all the praying type, please throw one or two in our direction. And if not, good thoughts and healthy vibes are just as appreciated.
