@Shari, You know, I would consider buying one at Target, except that all I have to do is call my mom and say, “You know, Catie just mentioned that she wanted a princess costume…” The next day, my mom calls me from the fabric store to ask me about colors and patterns. Way easier than buying it myself. :-)

Our girls are in the princess phase now. The best time to get costumes is right after Halloween, while everything is 50% or more off. Also, remember that Target carries a pretty good selection year round at a good price. Never buy one in the Disney store unless you have to. @Jess, I hadn’t even noticed the frog on the TV. (I actually thought it was the alligator at first glance.) Nice catch!

My issue with New Orleans is not that it’s too expensive, it’s that it’s too dang HOT to live there. I love it, but I cannot deal with their weather.
