The blog of a girl and her family, trying to re-adjust to life in the South after spending the past decade north of the Mason-Dixon line. Hilarity is sure to ensue.

I am going to have to try that eye balm. Although I almost never wear makeup outside of seeing clients at work and special occasions, I am a moisturizer/eye gel/happy smoothy balm product whore. But in spite of all the expensive stuff, still my favorite product is plain-jane Oil of Ol'lady sensitive skin formula. No frangrance, no greasy feeling, lightweight, and it doesn't have a "taste" of you sweat and it gets in your mouth. Yeah, that's gross, but I like to workout well-moisturized.

I'm glad you're getting some relief.

I use a Clinique moisturizer that is to die for: Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Skin Relief. Instead of a cream, it's a gel-like moisturizer so you don't get greasy. All their products are allergy tested, so if you have a problem with the Clarins, try the Clinique.

This ends my commercial for Clinique Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Skin Relief.

Yeah, but the Clinique saleswomen? Are the scariest of them all. If I end up deciding to try it, I'll probably just write the name of the product on a piece of paper and send Dave in to buy it for me. Seriously, they terrify the bejeezus out of me.

I always put it on my Christmas list (a big jar lasts me a year) and therefore, my dad has to buy it. I agree about the department store cosmetics ladies. FRIGHTENING.
